RIP - James Gagula
The Albanvale Football Club tragically lost one of its young loveable
characters in James Gagula who died last Friday while surfing at Torquay.
James had just turned 18, 2 weeks earlier.
Affectionately known as "Gags" or "Jimmy", James had become an important member of the under 18s at Albanvale over the past 2 seasons after spending his earlier years at St. Albans Football Club.
Jimmy made an immediate impact with his new teammates and the entire club. His solid athletic build and fearless attack on the ball from the Albanvale back-line drew attention every time he took the field. But he will be most remembered by all as the gentle giant with the constant

Albanvale are pleased to annouced Robert Scardamaglia (Barbs) as its new senior coach for 2012.
Robert has acheived many great honours as a player and a coach. Robert was a stand out player at Braybrook, Sunshine YCW, He also was the first coach of Sydenham.

Congratulations on the 300th Game
Congratulations to Dean, Spotty & John on their 300th games for the Albanvale FC.
They have all been fine players over the journey beginning with the U10's.
Also good to see the club get up over the rapidly developing (thanks to all the ex-Albanvale players) Caroline Springs club in there first meeting together.
